Then

Then

A Poem by Wild Willow Blue
"

Love always loses, in the end..

"

Scattered remains of a bond gone soft

but I feel no pain for you

I stir heartbeats with my feet

and laugh, as I watch them float away

It makes me think of a time long past

How I loved you then -

with all my heart and soul

I did love you then

Distance has grown between us since

but I feel no pain for you

Your face used to haunt my dreams

you used to watch me sleep

It seems like forever ago

but, I loved you then -

with all my heart and soul

I did love you then

Gentle streams carry wishes of beauty away

but I feel no pain for you

Tears no longer fall, but I remember

oh, how you made me laugh

I still think back to a time long past

I very much loved you then -

with all my heart and soul

I did love you then
