Invitation

Invitation

A Poem by Wild Willow Blue
"

You can't miss it

"
I missed the note
From a poem attached
To my door frame
A chime from a bell lingers
As if told what to do
Or where to speak
Farther away a cloud
Comes into my vision
Careless eyes follow the sun
Frozen in time
Like the kind that marches on
I feel sick
That's what they said
All because I missed the note
That was written in my blood

And the invitation is to that place in the sky...
written in blood is pretty serious...when the body runs out of ink...it is time to go.
