Pretty

Pretty

A Poem by Wild Willow Blue
"

My heart was always yours..

"
I don't belong in your world
But I want to
Because baby, I love you
We can be friends
The best of
But I won't pretend
Like I don't want more
You said don't look at you
Like I look at you
But I catch you looking at me
Like that too
You got my mind in knots
Knowing how I feel for you
But not believing
When I say it's true
That I do
Baby, I do

this a rough situation...unrequited love...the romantic kind...and especially close when it is someone we are friends with...but our feelings want to go to the next level...but the other person is either oblivious...or...just isn't interested in taking that road.

Both, I think. Oblivious and not interested in the same path. Thank you for reading, your words real.. read more
