Catastrophic

It circles me and slowly pulls me in.
I can’t gain control. In a constant spin.
Trying to escape. To another place.
Finding no refuge. Another haunting face.

Losing control again. Loving you was my worst sin.
Speeding and racing ahead. My elevating anger builds within.
Living in another world. A world of darkness and solitude.
Feeling at peace, yet stripped down and totally nude.

Alienating you forever is my final decision.
Letting go of the wheel. Is it then you will see my vision?
Grabbing a hold again to this wheel of chance.
Pulsating silence surrounding. I’m done this zombie dance.

Suffocating memories.
No cure or antibiotic.
Drowning in this emptiness.
It was all catastrophic!
