Suffocating Love

Suffocating Love

A Poem by Michal.R.Lundgren

I'm turned upside down.

Being pushed down under.

Water blurring my vision.

My heart sounding like thunder.

Grabbing at your sleeves.

Struggling for my life.

You are suffocating me.

Your love is the sharpest knife.

Seeking for something new

You are polluting my only air.

Why can't you let me go.

This love is gone and I don't care.

Passing you by on the street.

I thought it would be hard to do.

I kept walking and I didn't even turn my head.

I bet you sure feel stupid... Don't you!!??.

Now I can breathe again.

My polluted air is now clean.

Some things are meant to change.

For the first time I'm truly seen.

AND IT'S NOT BY YOU!!!
