As The Train Goes By

As The Train Goes By

A Poem by Michal.R.Lundgren
"

Something I wrote as a teenager when I was troubled.

"
Running through chains, that entangle me all around.

Lying on train tracks, I listen to the thundering ground.

The sky is above me, clouds paint their pictures white and grey.

The sun is burning me, brightness is covered by the clouds at play.

I hear my heart beating, I feel my own breath.

I listen to the birds sing my song before death.

I feel no pain as I lye there dreaming.

I feel no pain as I hear my body screaming.

The train goes by, I watch it go in such a hurry.

My body lays under it feeling the pain, but never to worry.

It's only my feelings and thoughts, that are left there to bleed.

It's only a picture in my head, that no one cares to read.
