Forbidden Love

Wanting you so terribly bad.
Knowing that it will never come to be.
It's driving me completely mad.
Not able to express what you mean to me.


A constant gut wrenching ache for you.
Drowning in a blackened sea of emotion.
So lost and just not sure what to do.
Repetitive mistakes causing internal corrosion.


Something so amazingly beautiful.
Never allowed to be shown.
Feelings about you seem so irrational.
When I'm not with you I feel so alone.


This overwhelming desire.
Gnawing and eating me up inside.
This out of control fire.
Put out by the endless tears I’ve cried.


Must erase all of our memories.
Must forget about your beautiful face.
Loving you is like an incurable disease.
Heart once overflowing....
Now just empty space!
