Healing A Crushed Heart

a poem of how my heart was once broken by a liar.

It has been a while 

Since we have met or spoken

But never have i forgotten

Our special moments

You shocked me and the world

By confessing you are in love

My heart was crushed

W H E N

you mentioned her name

Deep in my heart

I always thought it would be me

I visioned things beyond

my imagination

all because i gave my heart to you

ONE HUNDRED PERCENT

Now we never see each other

And never keep in touch

Although you are so close to me

Yet i feel you are a thousand miles away

Some nights I cry like a baby thinking of you

Wondering why did you play with my feelings

Despite confessing that you love me so much

You cheated me and took my love for granted

Do you even think of me these days?

Do you even remember all the promises you made?

 I should have known better that you are a player

I blame myself for playing with fire

It is taking longer time to heal

More longer than what i have expected

I hope you will come to me one day

And say sorry for all this hurt you have caused me

And when that happens

I am going to take your hand

And say THANK YOU

You have made me a stronger person

And will wish you all the best

And walk away peacefully without a tear dropping from my eyes
