Moonlight

Moonlight

A Poem by Rose

When our time is incomplete
And we're dancing in the wind
Will you look down at your feet
And realize you are free

Someday we'll have to walk along
The road to infinite peace
But that's some time away
And, for now, we're here

Sitting in a field
Feeling the sun's warmth glow
Standing on a roof
Looking up at the stars

Fresh air fills your lungs
As you look around
And realize this silence is not lonely
And realize your life is not a cage
And realize how happy you are
Dancing in the moonlight
