FREEDOMA Poem by WildOarKidInspite of what my foes may think, of the personal journey into the past, Rehashing the old, with every intent to dispose, provides me the freedom from my bondage at last. Without the challenges that accompany pain, or the tears i sometimes shed, its indiscriminate and identifies the empty shell that i am, i fortge on toward the afterlife that i'll find oncve i'm dead. Inside of this body lies an infinite spirit that appreciates a beautiful sunrise or a good friends loyalty. So nurture the soul that cries from within, fear not what's hidden beneath the skin and embrace me, the individual in my entirety. Becuz upon seeking in silence, listen, be not defiant, there truly is beauty in all diversity. We'll invest precious time into me discovering you and you discovering me. Upon unlocking chains of prejudice or the doors that imprison bigotry, you'll be amazed once you realize that its behind the confines of your mind and that you've always possessed the key. © 2008 WildOarKid |
