Of hearts and minds

Hearts, are strange organs,
for they beat off their own volition.

Minds, are stranger still,
for they wander off without intention.

But the lucky ones are truly united,
with sacred and pure dedication.

Whose hearts beat and minds think
unremittingly of that one person.
