It's been a very trying last few days. This came to me while I was washing my hands, spacing out, thinking about starting the new book I just got in the mail. I couldn't wait to just be IN that book.

Oh how I love to read!

It makes it possible to escape

My f*****g mind...

It never takes a break!

When I read,

the thoughts in my head

become the words on the page.

The words on the page take me to another place.

Finally, I don't have to continuously ponder

All the s****y things

My mind can just wander

Whatever I read, 

Whatever I see,

Makes it possible for me to break free.

No specific format (spoken words was a close guess). I just kind of write what comes without much thought. I'm used to helping my husband write lyrics for his music so that may show through a little bit. Let me know what you think and if you can relate! Thanks for reading!
