My Forever Love

A poem for my daughter, my greatest gift from God.

I watch you grow day by day,

each morning I see a world of change.

You're becoming a person of your own,

a little lady into which you have grown. 

I love you with all of my heart and soul, 

the actual magnitude you could never truly know.

Will you love me forever the way you do now?

I know I shouldn't have unrealistic expectations, but how?

You're my baby girl, and always will be.

I know rough times are inevitably ahead of me.

But love you the same, I always will

Because to me you will forever be, my baby girl.
