The Past

Sometimes I think about the life we could have had

About all the mistakes and if I could take them back

In so many ways I wish I could

Take back the pain that I caused you

To wipe the tears from your eyes and make them beautiful again

I don’t say this to much cuz of the morals I have in life

But I’m sorry from the bottom of my soul,

I wish I could have gave you a better life

You’re still beautiful to this day

 

Just like you were way back when

You haven’t changed anything and that is what I love from within

But I also know that we can never be

Never be one again

 

But I see you in my dreams

Under the moon and the skies

Stars that glisten always remind me

About the look that I see in your eyes

 

That innocent look of love and lust

About your beauty from sunrise to dusk

 

Dreams are more like fantasies that I hope one day could be

But it probably wont be that way ever again, and that’s ok with me

Your friendship is enough to keep me smiley and always cheerful

Just to make your day better, and tell you that you’re beautiful
