I wondered why you were mad
and why my weakness caused you pain
why my insulince distugsted you
and only brought you shame

I wonder why I cant be him
the person that you really need
I just got lost along my path
when I had no one to lead

I wonder why you still cared
after all I put you through
I wonder why you still love me
and if you know i love you too

I wonder if things went right
and I wasnt here to say these things
would you still be haunted by my memory
and kept in lock and chains

I wonder why you chose me
when you knew it meant no good
and why you wanted to keep me
even though I didnt think you should

I wonder why when I said you need better
all you would say is no
I wondered myself to a conclusion
now i dont wonder..... I know
