"

The original start of things....

"

On top of a hill, there sits a two-story house. The outside is draped with vines encircling the sides all around. Painted originally red, the colour has faded to a faint pinkish tint. Upon entering the house you can easily see there is a long stairwell up to the second floor. But, when you first enter if you walk straight ahead you will reach a wooden door. Inside this door a woman, the mother in this story, resides.

This is her bedroom. A small, but cozy room. Not cozy just because of its size, but because of its elegant rose coloured bedsheets and rug. The bed is twin size and very soft. moving to the far side of the room you can see a mahogany bureau filled with a womans clothes, money, and luxaries. There is a door connected to this room in which leads to a tiny bathroom.

Leaving this room, and heading half way down the hall is the living room. This is where everyone rests. A large plasma screen tv is propped against the wall with a blue couch and two blue recliners.

Continuing on through the living room, you reach the kitchen. The maid, who also is the nanny and chef, works in here. If you walk back to the long hallway we started from, you keep walking and come to another door, but it is under the stair case. Slightly smaller than the mothers room and decorated with mint green, this is where the maid sleeps.

Walking up to the second floor, there are three large rooms. The one on the left is the father and wife's room. Designed with the colours of black and white, the floor is hardwood. The bed is large with many, many pillows, more than ever needed, placed neatly against the headboard.

Walking out of this room the next room is thr second bathroom. This one is to be used by only the maid, father, wife, and child.

And finally, the one who ties everyone together. The child's room. Being the age of six and growing up with, technically, two mothers, she is a spoiled darling filled with love and joy. This child's room, although a girl, the room is a deep shade of blue. With giraffe's and elephants and many other zoo animals scattering the walls. There are many toys scattered across the floor. One empty trunk that is supposed to store these many toys.

Our story begins in the kitchen with the mother, wife, and maid talking. The father and child are watching a football game on telelvision....
