Soldiers Leader

Soldiers Leader

A Poem by Time's The Bond

Well I'll be sitting pretty
Or
I'll have bitten the dust
What to do when I'm gone
Having absconded the earth

Let not my soul rust

A note left

upon my wrested jacket

Do not cry, sing”

I do not want inked tears upon my face

Nor my grave

Leave with grace

My brave soldiers

I hope I've not enslaved thee

My days alive

I would like a good story told in my honor

Commoner, do not fight

If one be so bold

one be so told a lie

May it just come

Holler my name towards the sky
