One of those moments we all have

You failed and you fell

Well tell it to the world

You succeed with no one to tell

With a need you pleaded for someone to hear

You cheer and shout to the world I’m here

Because you want to be unique

like an antique

One of those moments we all have

Hidden or not

Didn’t you have it once?

The moment you wanted to

…

Shout about

Be alone and roam

Had a spout of inspiration

Did something out of temptation

Only more to come

No matter what

You are not alone

We were all born to accept these moments

Those moments have crept upon us

Its one of those moments we all have

my best advice to a young poet, such as yourself, is to read, read, read . . . every poet you can get your hands on, my favorites are Emily Dickinson, Edna St. Vincent Millay, Nikki Giovanni, William Carlos Williams . . . and Rumi and, oh, so many others :)

for me it was all about finding my voice, i didn't think i had one really, it is a chame to be 30 years old and have nothing you feel worthwhile to say, but the words came, and i blossomed, you will find the same I bet
