When

When

A Poem by Time's The Bond

When (62)

Written: 2-27-12

By: Emily Lui

When will I grow up?

Will we ever know?

All we can do

Go with the flow

When will I feel what I haven’t?

What will my appeal be?

Will it conceal long?

When will I die?

Will my eyes close?

Will it be cold?

Will I be scared?

Questions

Come in life

Wonders happen

Captain can’t tell you

It’s a secret

It crosses my mind

When will that kiss be?

How will I live?

Will it consist?

Or will I

Fall into abyss

I cannot deny

Yet I cannot pry

Too far

Too close

I want to know

It kills me

No matter what is said

It won’t change the future

So I wonder

What can’t be seen wanted

What can be seen is forgotten

We just throw it away

But I promise

I’ll remember

That kiss

That house

That precious memory

When it comes

You have become a victim of what I call convenience psychology. Just do something... anything... work hard.

I like the flow of this. Life brings up questions that we don't know the answer or when/if we will experience different things in life. All we can do is live life and keep the memories and hope we don't take things for granted.

Great Job
