Pure Sunset

Pure Sunset

A Poem by Time's The Bond

By: Emily Lui

I sit here and wait

Wish to believe

Stop my tears

Stare out

See the sunset

This sun before my eyes

How it ascends high

Happily no matter

How bad the day before

Wise is the sun

To keep going

Forgetting that day

Making eyes shine

With radiance

Its gift

Stare on forever

Wonder

How far my eyes take me

Wonder who to defy

Watch the sun

Wait

Stare forever

So on through this swift life

Interesting poem. I like how well the words flow in it. The last line is a bit difficult to understand. But it's still really good! Nice job!!
