The Inspiration Behind My WritingA Story by Lady_WiccaToday kick's off National Novel Writing Month and the inspiration behind this novel is my late father, Benjamin L Wesson, born March 1, 1920 and passed away on March 18, 1994.
Today is National Novel Writing Month and I have dedicated this National Novel Writing Month Novel 2017 in the memory of my late father, Benjamin L Wesson.
He always said that you don't any that you wanted to do if you set your mind too. He would not let the public school system dictate to him and berate me. He allowed me to make my own decisions at a very early age of 8 years old. I was born with dyslexia, but I overcame it with many other problems. I stayed back in third grade, due to illness, and in the eighth grade spend a year in self contained. I did not graduate from high school but I went on and got my GED and State of Alabama paid for my education. I paid for my own education the Institute for Writers in Danbury, Connecticut with my own money. I received a Bachelor's Degree in Creative Writing. I just recently had my interview as a writer, and I have participated in National Novel Writing Month for two years. This is my third year and will be third win. I will win this year again. I dedicate this Novel in the memorial of my late, Benjamin L Wesson. He was a great man, a great inspiration, open-minded, broad-minded, funny, witty, and clever. I miss him.
