This article is going to explain many things and I will continue it with another story. This will explain the War of Roses first, the second will explain The Tudor and James I of England

"
This is King Edward the III of England
Edward the II married Isabel of France and they had Edward the III that married Philippa of Hainault and they had several children 1) Edward, The Black Prince that married Joan of Kent and they had King Richard the II that married 1)Anne of Bohemia and  2) Isabel of Valois, oldest sister of Charles the VII of France that had Joan of Arc burnt to the stake and he was murdered by Henry Bolingbroke later as King Henry the IV of England and he married Mary of Bohun and she gave birth to King Henry the V of England that defeated Frances and Charles the VIII in the Battle of Agincourt and he died at the 38 years but he was married to the youngest sister of King Charles the VII.

When King Henry the V died and after she gave a birth to King Henry the V. She fell in love with Owen Tudor and gave birth to four of more children, Owen, Jasper, Edmund and Jacina Tudor.
Edmund Tudor married Margaret Beaufort who was also the great grand daughter of John of Gaunt who was the third son of King Edward the III.
King Edward the III had a second son but that son had a daughter, and they passed by him by.
John of Gaunt is interesting enough, and so the least he is colorful and this is his story- He married Blanche of Lancaster and he had the Henry the IV and she died, and then he married Constance of Castile and they had a daughter, Catherine of Lancaster. She married Henry The III of Castile and they had John The II of Castile and he married Isabel of Portugal and they had guess who? Isabel of Castile and she married Ferdinand of Aragon. They united Spain and they had five children, Isabel, Juan, Juana, Marie, and Catherine of Aragon.
Isabel married her cousin, Manuel of Portugal but she died in child birth and the child would have been heir to  Portugal and Spain.
Manuel of Portugal married Marie of Aragon and they had children.
Juan died of fever and he was married to Margaret of Austria, but she died and so did the child.
Juana of Castile inherited Spain and Austria and she married Phillip of Austria and Burgundy and they had Charles the V, The Holy Rome Emperor and he married Isabel of Portugal and they had King Phillip the II.
John of Gaunt had a mistress that he loved and her name was Catherine Sywnford and they had children and Henry the V made them legitimate and he gave them the French name of Beaufort.
John of Gaunt has a son by the name of John Beaufort and he had a son by the name of John and he had guess who? Margaret Beaufort and she married Edmund Tudor and they had guess who?
Henry the VII of England.
Edward the III had another son by the name of Edmund and he inherited the Duke of York and Langley and he married Isabel of Castile and they have a son by the name of Richard Duke of Cambridge that married Anne Mortimer and they had a son by the name of Richard and became Duke of York and he married Cecily Neville and they had Edward the IV, George, Duke of Clarence, and Richard the III.
Edward the IV married Elizabeth Woodville and they had several children and their oldest child, Princess Royal, Elizabeth of York married Henry Tudor and they reunited the throne after Henry Tudor defeated and killed Richard the III on Bosworth Field.

They married in 1485 and guess who they had? Prince Arthur of Wales that married Princess Catherine of Aragon. He died of TB about six months later.

King Henry the VII and Queen Elizabeth of York had three other children - Margaret Tudor and she married King James the IV of Scotland and they had King James the V and he married Marie De Guise and they had Queen Mary of Scotland and she married three times, King Francis the II of France, Henry Stuart, Lord Darnley and they had King James the VI of Scotland and I of England.
They had King Henry the VIII of England and he married six times. 1) Catherine of Aragon and they had one daughter , Mary the First of England
2) Queen Anne Boleyn and they had Queen Elizabeth the First
3) Jane Seymour and they had Edward the VI
4) Anne Of Cleves
5) Katheryn Howard
6) Catherine Parr
Henry the VIII had a son by Elizabeth Blount by the name of Henry Fitzroy (n  in French that means a son of a King.
They had a younger daughter, Princess Mary Rose and she married Louis the XII and he died and she married Charles Brandon and they had three children, Henry Brandon, Eleanor Brandon and Frances Brandon and she married Henry Grey and they had three daughter, Lady Jane Grey, Lady Catherine Grey and Lady Mary Grey.
Lady Jane Grey was forced to marry Lord Guildford Dudley and they were executed by Mary the First of England.
Lady Catherine Grey married Lord Edward Seymour and they had Lord Edward Seymour that Lord William Seymour that married Lady Annabelle Stuart that was the niece of Lord Henry Stuart, Lord Darnley.
One thing that connects all them together is Edward the III of England and John of Gaunt, Edmund, Duke of York, and the reason why the War of The Roses started was because Edward the III's sons were warring against each other.
The final outcome was Henry Tudor defeated King Richard the III of England and  Lord Stanley placed the crown on Henry Tudor's head on 1485.
Margaret Beaufort prophesied that her son would become King of England and it came true.
Henry Tudor stared the House of Tudor but through his eldest daughter he is also connected to The House of Stuart. He is the great grand father of Mary, Queen of Scots.
Anne Boleyn, Katheryn Howard and Jane Seymour are related through the Duke of Norfolk.
I will remind you what Queen Anne Boleyn states to Henry the VIII in the movie Anne of a Thousand. "My Elizabeth will become Queen and she will rule a greater England than any son you will ever have and my blood will be well spend."
Queen Anne Boleyn prophecy came true on January 17, 1559 when Elizabeth at the age of 25 ascended the Throne of England. She did rule a greater England than King Henry the VIII ever did.
She lived 45 years and died at at the age of 69 years old.
Elizabeth did not name her successor but the only one she could leave to was King James the VI of Scotland.
Now Anne of York married John, Duke of Norfolk and they had Thomas Howard and he had a son, Thomas and he had the following children, Thomas, John, Elizabeth that married Thomas Boleyn and they had Queen Anne Boleyn, and Edmund Howard married Joyce Culpepper and they had Queen Katheryn Howard, but Thomas Howard was married twice and by the second wife, he had a daughter that married John Seymour and their son, John married Margaret Went-worth and they had Jane Seymour, Edward Seymour, and Thomas Seymour.
Anne of York was the younger sister of Queen Elizabeth of York.
Richard the III married Anne Neville that had been forced to marry Edward, Prince of Wales, the son of Henry the VI and Margaret of Anjou and he got killed and she married Richard the III.
Prince George, Duke of Clarence married Isabel Neville but she died and he was found guilty of treason against Edward the IV and he drown in wine.
I got carried way. This article was suppose to be only on The War of Roses, but I got farther.
Blessed Be and Merry Meet.
