nothing lasts:

nothing lasts:

A Poem by Wholesome cat

nothing lasts:

ink in the pen, cells, names

swims through the aire

sleeps with the earthworms

nightcrawlers

cries

wastes away

nothing lasts:

the fishes in the sea

hardened in the bright, bare sunlight

stinking in the sand

tomorrow will descend into soupish stank

melt into fleshless rot

mangled with uneasiness

amongst bloated gases, shattered bones

nothing lasts:

kisses and people

people and fondness

frightfully clinging to memory
