the grey one

the grey one

A Poem by Wholesome cat

the grey one

the grey manwoman

with a cat in its arms,

with nails dug in its side.

the tired one

the fearful eyes

of a man with no where

of a woman with no one

Great use of Androgyny. As for an interpretation, I will have to go with the irony of separation. two souls alone yet so very alike longing to meet. They are both viable but never connecting.

I enjoyed the poem, The last stanza gave me to think about: A tired man who fears to go nowhere, or fears to lose a women who has no one.
Very interesting piece!
