mythology in this fickle heart

mythology in this fickle heart

A Poem by Wholesome cat

mythology in

this fickle heart-

this is raspberry candles

sweet liquid fire all over

like purpled amber in glass orifices

this is newdity

rolling skin with angry scars

thinly veiled in fabrik,

under blankets and downy fibres

this is the cosmos

in phantasies, lying on the grass,

feeling some phantom crave above-

twain philosophies of flesh

this is nature

all over all, and benumbed

by the deadened blanched sunned

immaculate

bloodless pallidity

this is flesh

onyx desire

atramentous sky above

in the walls and mortar

the stardust

this is water

in empty transparent veins,

remade of hourless alabaster.

running down the mountains,

the molehills of this tissued outward

this is life

breathing and pulsing about itself

faith

in headless sculptures

depicting green intimacies
