CourageA Poem by *~Kristy~*
Sometimes, these shadows they creep,
And sometimes, these souls they weep, Courage has become a difficult feat, The virgin that has lost everything beneath the sheets, The runaway child lost on the streets, The father whos heart has taken its last beat, The toddler falling into water dangerously deep, Courage has become a difficult feat, For the child beaten and died to a seat, For the brave wife being ridiculed and beat, For the dying child wallowing in a field of grief, For the abused girl who thinks a kind word is a rare treat, Courage has become a difficult feat, To a future so seemingly bleak. © 2010 *~Kristy~*Featured Review
