Your ScentA Poem by *~Kristy~*I go about my day, In a blur, And whenever I roam the hallways so full of life, I feel so desolate and alone,
Then I get to my destination, Room 139, I search everywhere with sight, sound, and touch, But then I catch a scent,
It's sweet, It's intoxicating, It reminds me of running through the snow, Though it is warm outside,
It is your scent.
And I stare around, As the sweetness envelops me, And I beg, For your reapearance.
I go home, And I am so disapointed, All the time that I spend with you is never enough, I always want more.
Then I get to my destination, The room at the back of the house, I close off my senses - sight, sound, and touch, Then I catch a scent.
It's sweet, It's intoxicating, It reminds me of running through the snow, Though it is warm outside,
It's your scent.
And I stare around, As the sweetness envelops me, And then I realize, Your scent lingers with me.
It lingers on my clothes, On my skin, On my tounge, On my heart.
