Silence Unfurled

Silence Unfurled

A Poem by *~Kristy~*

Sometimes we are broken
By silent words unspoken,
And by dreams wrenched away
When theres so much left to say.

But then, theres always something we have yet to tell,
Especially when, inside, we want to scream and yell.
And so, by silence unfurled,
In the darkest corner of my room my body lays curled.

My face is pressed ever so tightly to thye wall,
When I want just to be standing tall.
A thick blanket eagerly sulluets me
Hiding my body, and holding me in so that I can't be free.

My face is hiding behind tufts of black hair
That hangs limply in the tense air.
My breathing comes out as gasps,
And the pain is radiating from behind my many masks.
