Who Knows?

Who Knows?

A Poem by WhoElseButRae

Only one glance

And it's all I see

The look in those eyes

Glaring at me

A look full of, not love

But what, what could it be

I can't tell with those eyes

They're a shield sometimes

I know love when I see it

For I've seen it in those very eyes before

I must depart, the pain is so intense

And later I weep and cry out

My eyes dry and fall out

Into my unready, unwilling hands

All because of the pain

Caused by those unloving pecans

Of my mother who I have loved so dearly

For as long as I can remember

But does she love me

Even a portion of the great miles and miles

That I love her with

Who knows

This was really well written. It took me a second to get what you were talking about. Once I got it though, I loved it :) It was a really interesting way to express that subject. Good job :)

About
Hey. I'm Rae. I got into writing when I was about 12. I mostly did poetry and used to write the silliest poems. I could write one about anything. But not too long after I started, I got writer's block.. more..
