scratching the surface
multi faceted skin
harder than diamonds
the challenge begins
riddles poems how
what and wise will you
dare push your luck
to uncover the prize
buried in the comments
for a grave digger view
sleuthing the crime of
bewildering you
insults or injuries
spaghetti on the wall
shaking off
the notion there's
anything at all.
deeper you reach under
subconscious clothes
feelings have begun to
succumb to disclose
will the wolf in you
gnaw off and escape
this ridiculous path
beguiling divergence
from trustworthy math
delicate muse leading
the heart of your beat
the daydreamers secret
some mysteries vanash
after leaving your feet
sorry to lose you
bane of my life
dangerous rhymes
brandish the
knife
scratching the surface
multi faceted skin
harder than diamonds
the challenge begins
i thank you dear reader
for following through
to all those out there
not inclined to review
I'm graciously honored
for this time spent with
the incredible you
Hi :) I love the graphic and this gave me a start from the get.
"Uncover the prize" had me repeatedly reading.
It spirals into sort of anger and just rhyming.
It seems to get a bit violent and-or threatening.
I never did uncover any prize although the poesy was smartly woven. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you,and thank's for making your point
and mine too!
wht a startling and thrilling read! the persona takes us on a ride of his roller-coaster thoughts in a stream-of-consciousness verse, but in the final stanza we are left feeling safe. it was just a ride. and hell of a ride. full of surreaal imagery and inteligent plays on words. i liked the lines about spaghetti on the wall, the wolf, diamond skin, as well as the repetitions and unexpected rhymes. it is full of things i like. supreme work. and you are most welcome. i thoroughly enjoyed reading this.
