Single ray a wisp of light

Single ray a wisp of light

A Poem by Throwing Romeo

If I told you I loved you
would it scare you away

if I could show it to you
in my poet first kinda way

would you listen to my heart
pressing keys gently slow

I would like to share with you
something you should know

the mist that settled after
this last winter storm

 a beautiful new prism
of true colours was born

out of the grey turn dark
a single ray a wisp of light

arched across a dividing  sea
banded colours of natures might

a space where love could matter
no matter how distant or far

joined by a kiss of sunshine
and the joy of loving you

wherever you are

I like the couplet format for this write, together with the warm, but hesitant ask. Your lines have beautiful imagery spanning the divide of the ocean. A successful love poem I would say R. Well done .
