We decided that we would have to go there during the night and stay there all day and wait till night to come back. I started to think about what we would need for the trip. Then I remembered we were in the middle of the house and I was still lost. I asked them if they knew which way to go to get to the library I found the book in. They said after a lot of thinking that it was a confusing path on which they found it. So I asked if they would show me the way and they said yes. We all went down a hallway then turned left then went down another hallway then went in a room went across it and went out the other door then turned right and after that I lost track of which way we were going. All I know is that we eventually got there. I went straight into my room and pulled out my sketch pad. They soon followed me in and started talking about what we would do. A few hours passed bye.

The final plan was I was going to pack food for myself, a water bottle, my binoculars, my flashlight, a map of the town that just happened to be in the library and the keys to the house I was staying in so when we returned I would not have to pick the door to get back in. We would go there on Wednesday morning and stay all day looking around and seeing what my parents did. Then we would return back to the house and either be disappointed or shocked. I was hoping to be shocked because I did not want to go there and just find them talking about some new gadget. I had no clue what I was getting into.

I eventually went to sleep at like five in the morning and it was Tuesday. I decided to sleep all day so that I was well rested or maybe it was because I am just lazy but either reason was fine for me. I eventually got up around four in the morning of coarse I did get up periodically when I was hungry or had to use the restroom. I ate some grapes. Then I took a shower and changed clothes. I was wearing an all black outfit because I did not want to be seen.   I then prepared the stuff and found Michael and Jessica. They were waiting at the car. Michael drove very slowly because his head lights were off when we reached a mile from the town. The fact that he could drive practically blew my mind. I took us a little over ten minutes to get there. We hid the car right out side of the town. I started to look at the map and found that there were only two hotels in town. So I told them that we would have to check both of them. The first one had an old fashioned look to it. I distracted the clerk by asking him obvious questions while Michael and Jessica looked for my parent’s names in the computer.   They were not in that hotel so we knew they were in the other. Then we went to the other hotel which was a more elegant hotel and this time I asked the clerk what there rates were while they looked for what room they were in and a spare key to there room.

My parents were on the second floor of the hotel in room 2A. I was ready to run up there but then I remembered they thought that I was still at that the old house. I walked to the back at of the hotel thinking that there might be a fire escape. I was right there was a fire escape and it lead all the way up. I started to climb not thinking much about it. We were very lucky the fire escape lead straight by the window of my parent’s room. I tried to see any thing but nothing. I sat there with Michael and Jessica for almost an hour, and then I saw a light turn on. I was really excited but then I was also afraid. I was breaking many rules and I would defiantly be grounded if I was to be caught. I watched my dad and mom and get up. I cautiously watched and ducked every time I thought they where looking my way. Then after a few minutes they left to do whatever we had come to see. I had no clue on what to do we had planned everything else but not this. I sat there for a second and asked Michael and Jessica. Jessica said to follow my parents, and Michael said we should look in their room first. I though we would get caught if we were to follow my parents so I decided that we should check out their room first.

I slowly opened the window. It creaked the whole time I thought I could wake the dead with it. I was very anxious but at the same time I thinking why I was there and if it was worth it. I slid in the window and Jessica and Michael followed. I started to search through the draws nothing but some clothes and things about the motel. Gratefully Jessica found a schedule in one of the drawers in the nightstand. It read:

Mrs. and Mrs. Vecoleson’s schedule

7:00am Meeting in school gym
10:00am Opening seminar
12:00pm lunch in school cafeteria
2:00pm Training program
5:00pm Dinner at school

I looked at it so long I thought it was going to tell me more. I slipped back outside looking around very cautious not to be seen by any one. I thought about the school that they were using for their meeting and programs. I thought about it for a little while then remembered not seeing any school on the way into town. I quickly asked Michael and Jessica but they had no clue where it was. We climbed down the fire escape and opened the map and got out the flashlight. The school was not far from here.  We walked in between allies to prevent people from seeing us or at least me.

The school was big compared to that of the one I had gone to.  It was three stories, but only the first floor and the gym were lit with lights. The one thing that really bothered me about the school was that it was surrounded by woods it was almost cut of completely from the town. It was very creepy. We walked slowly hiding behind trees as we went. As I ventured closer I saw no guards on the outside of the building or in the building as far as I could see in. When we entered the building it was very cold as if it was a morgue or some thing.   There were cameras hanging on the wall but they were not turned one. We walked down the hall and made our way to the gym with out being seen, but that is because there was no one to see us.

We looked through the window of the door and saw ten people and my parents standing around a round table. There were a lot of papers on the table and everyone was arguing over something. Then I saw my dad bring out his dagger that he used for self defense. I let out a yelped and quickly ducked so that anyone who heard me would not see me. The other ten people moved from around the table and walked toward my parents in a straight line as my parents began to back up. I saw the fear in their eyes. I did not know what to do should I go in and help or should I stay safe away from the fight or that is what I thought it was. I decided to stay because if I had went out there and it turned out to be nothing I would be grounded on so many accounts. One of the people in the center pulled out a sword that I had never had noticed before then. The sword was black a black blade and handle with one diamond shaped ruby at the top of the handle. My parents were against the wall now. I froze in fear as I saw the blade come slowly down and slice through both of my parents’ necks. Their heads rolled toward the ten people as their bodies fell. My eyes closed I began to fall back and hit the ground hard.
