From the hallway I could see this glimpse of white from the living room. I walk towards it. I started to shiver, I could hear the floor boards beneath me, and my heart was pounding in my ear. I though I was going to throw up, but I kept it down. When I reached the living room, the doors were shut that opened up to the living room. I was so afraid to open them. I though of the worst like if a robber had broken in. Then I saw one of the door knobs turn. I started to back up slowly still staring at door knob. Then I tripped over the rug that had been in the hallway. The door opened and there was nothing and it was pitch black. I could not see any thing. I lay there puzzled at what had just happened. I got up and followed the wall to my room. I grabbed my flash light that I brought just in case this happened. I then went back into the hall way and walked to the living room. As soon as I stepped into the living room the lights cut back on. I was so confused I looked around for the light switch thinking that someone was there turning on and off the lights.

Then I saw him he was about six feet tall, had black hair, and was wearing what looked like a prison coveralls.   He was a very strange and peculiar man. I stared at him or a few minutes and he just stared right back at me I could not tell why he was not saying any thing or attacking me for finding him. He started to look behind himself as if he thought I could not see him. Then he stared straight back at me and said what are you looking at. He said it rather loud as if he had a hearing problem or he thought I did. I responded to him by saying you. Then he looked really surprised and ran off. I chased him all around the house until he vanished after turning a corner. In my chasing of him I did not notice how far we had traveled. I was lost and I had no clue which way to go because the hallway I was on seemed to go forever in each direction.  I started to walk forward down the hallway thinking that when I reached a dead end I would go the opposite way and in the mean time I could explore the house. I walked for awhile and realized that the hallway did not end. I started to run forward as fast as I could I was scarred I was trapped. I closed my eyes thinking that would just go away, but it did not. I started to scream for help. Then I suddenly stopped.

There was another hallway I slowly went down it being afraid because it reminded me of my favorite game. My heart slowed a little from running and then went back because I knew what happened in the game. I have not reached that level yet but my friend tolled me that she was still stuck on this part. She said that a guy jumps out and kills you. She told me that in the middle of the school year and she still has not beaten him. She is the best at those types of games. I started to shake in fear of what might have been a head.  I had only my flashlight to protect myself. Then as I slowly walked along it got colder and colder as if I had stepped into the fridge. Then a door slowly opened and I was frozen with fear. Then the guy I saw earlier jumped out from behind the door and I screamed at the top of my lungs. Then I eventually yelled at him for scarring me. I was about to hit him playfully of course but my hand went straight through him. He became really scared. I stepped back from him. I said “who are you”. He did not reply for a few minutes, but he eventually said “I am Michael and I am a ghost”.  I was ready to ask him a million questions then I remembered about my parents and my thought of going to their convention and seeing what they do. “Do you know about the convention in town”? He said” yes”. “Would you help me get there to see what my parents do during it”.

He thought about it for awhile then agreed to help me. We started to think up a plan we would have to go there early in the morning. He said that he had a car around the back of the house. I wanted to ask about it but I thought it was better not to. Then he noticed the book that I had been holding. He said it belonged to a friend of his. He took it and began to read the pages. I all most snatched the book back. The book was a diary and if that person was his friend then why was he reading it. Then a girl came from nowhere and snatched the book from him. She had blonde hair and had a flowered dress on and she had this long mark across her neck.   I assumed that she was a ghost and was named Jessica. I was right and she was so mad at him she called him by his full name, Michael Robert Johnson. After they stopped arguing I asked Jessica if she wanted to join us on our adventure. She did and we started making the plans.
