On Deft Ears

On Deft Ears

A Poem by WhiteWillow

Opaque walls
silence screams so clear,
look--and find me here.

Thoughts of grey
blurred by sorrow;
no longer
longing
for tomorrow.

Trust me, I feel this, my dear poet

love "no longer/longing" i like that turn of phrase....and the oxymoron "silence screams" and i agree it does often scream louder than any booming voice...and it hurts worse too.

nicely compact and powerful.
