Tendrils of Doubt

Tendrils of Doubt

A Poem by Phoenix
"

Fires within fires.

"

Locked away in pearl chains

Forced to feast upon the riches of the damned

Innocence dies, and never reborn

Wandering in solitude

Slamming the head in the door

Night creeps into the minds of the many

The insanity becomes knowledge

When there's never a chance

It's clear when bodies are dragged

As a surefire sign always seems to be

And who's to say the high lord is wrong

When his reign is supreme?
