The Torment Inside

The side I don't show to others in person is what shows in my writing.

I feel consumed by darkness

Every step I take gets heavier

As I realize I cannot escape its grasp

Every person I talk to only serves

To confirm my evil suspicions

There is no saving grace or final light

I have no choice but to accept this fate

Yet acceptance is the truth

And I resist, believing there's a better side

I remain in Limbo, being torn apart

By my mind, devoid of emotion

Will I constantly fight,

Or shall I give up?
