The Road Ahead

The Road Ahead

A Poem by Ryan

The road ahead so far and entwined,

The thorns and branches are lined,

With the aura of the others that have walked this path,

  You live in their footsteps,

Making their mistakes,

You cry your tears of blood,

With every thorn, gauged into your flesh,

With every obstacle you face,

You are blind to see the boardering path,

Behind the plagues of foilage,

Forced to follow the plan of the ones before you

It seems like the message here is that you are forced to travel the road everyone else did, but you wanna break free and travel the road less traveled and it's causing pain. Good job, and I hope I'm right about the message. If not, I'm lying and spelling right write. Get it? OK, I think I need to sleep now.
