Teenagers, Let This Be Herd

Teenagers, Let This Be Herd

A Poem by Bianca
"

Sometimes I do compare myself to life but anyway I just felt like writing a teen song. Like if it were sung by a popular mainstream teenage rock band.

"

Little boys, go play in dirt
Little girls, plan to flirt
Dream big, know life is fun
Now give it time so the dream is done

Welcome Reality, you’re new best friend
All the way until the end
Hello Adolescence!
Let’s make some sense of this crazy
Topsey-turning-never-ending-story-of-me!

Teenage girls, look towards the cute and irresistible
Teenage boys, control yourself
I see how you are, I’ve herd what you’ve done
I just want to tell you that I’ve had enough

Love, love, stress, and work
Go, go be the clerk
Of your personal store
Let your mind soar
You’re out there now
Don’t dare fall down

Teenage girls, listen to the music
Let the life flow through you
Listen to the lyrics, sounds strangely familiar, now isn’t it?
You’re not alone, those quotes are what you do

Teenage boys, you don’t know anything
Yes you’re older
But we’re not done yet!
Stay put, they’re letting you free
Just wait!
Be careful of what you tell her
“Honey, it’s you, not me”

Pretentious, pretentious, self
Pretentious, pretentious, lies
EVERYONE’S TAKEN FOR A RIDE!

Love, love, school, and jerk
Go, go be the clerk
Of you’re personal store
You know they want more
Handle yourself carefully
You can be the problem, just you see

Teenagers, all suffer alone
Teenagers, think they can handle it
Teenagers, constantly moan
Teenagers, all have a fit!

Listen, listen, you
Pretentious, pretentious, beings
Listen, listen, hear me out!
Pretentious, pretentious, pretentious
LISTEN, LISTEN, LISTEN TO ME!

Pretentious, pretentious, self
Pretentious, pretentious, lies
EVERYONE’S TAKEN FOR A RIDE!

But, bless it, that’s just life

It’s do or die
Be strong or weak
It’s your choice to make
Don’t blame me

I AM life can’t you see
I am contradicting
I have my problems, imagine being me
It’s just how I have to play
The bad guy that’s killing
That’s how I am every single day

Listen, listen, you
Pretentious, pretentious, beings
Listen, listen, hear me out!
Pretentious, pretentious, pretentious
Listen…listen…listen…I….me…

Suffer just like you
I never wanted to be mean
But that’s how things are
I bet that’s what you always knew

We’re enemy’s
That’s how it’s always seen

I’d say  “please don’t hate me”
But I can’t change what I am to be

I try to be nice when I can
But like I had said before
My horrors have been planed
Now hit the floor

i like the "but like I said before, My horrors have been planned"
purposefully arrogant, sarcastic, real, and a little confusing!
