Chapter 2: Masterminds of Enslavement for Dehumanization and Independent Annihilation

Screw the M.E.D.I.A. and welcome insanity.

 

Then again insanity would come anyway.

 

No I'm not going to get into conspiracies but I'm still saving that for later.  I just hate the M.E.D.I.A. in general for the many outcomes it has on society.  Whatever comes out of the magic box of wonders of flashing lights and the living people in it has led to nothing but an empty drooling face on a typical person.  If you'd ever seen the movie Network you'd get more of a clear picture as to the insanity of the Masterminds on tv.

 

Now I've herd that many people out there don't watch tv all that much because they don't find it interesting, are too busy, or pretty much just doing what they should (reading or doing something else useful).  Those people are fine.  Even the ones that moderately watch the tv.  But it all comes down to when you turn that thing on and watch whatever's on to just relax or get into, let alone just watching the news for whatever reason.

 

I watch tv frequently.  I should be doing other things, in fact I'm trying to adjust myself into doing other things.  Sometimes I just don't watch the tv, I just leave it on and not pay attention while I do something else like drawing or reading.  I know, waste of energy huh?  But I'll get to you green people later.

 

Take anything from tv.  Anything. ANYTHING!

 

Ok let's just take for example the commercials.  Sure people are generally annoyed by the 1 to 3 minute breaks between reruns but they don't really look into it.  Commercials are designed to get your attention.  From the funny random ones with lovable characters or gimmicks, to the dark 'let's show you some reality' types, even the kid's 'check it out! it's a cool new toy!'.  They all have something going on.  So sometimes you might actually count on watching some of them, maybe even looking for a favorite to talk to your buddies about when you get the chance.  Just so they'll go 'hey yeah I saw that! remember the part when---' and you'll be looking back along with your buddies and laugh.

 

Let's just look more into the commercials.  Take a child's toy commercial.  Any one.  The ones showing toys targeted for guys are normally cars, dinosaurs, something grose, or even just some sports toy like a new scooter or skateboard.  The ones for girls however,  are more like into the theme of pink, beginner 'baking', dress up, glam, teen girl thing.  Looks perfectly fine for kids right?  I don't know about you, but lately I've been watching those commercials in some kind of way for people to show some kind of....expectancy for them.  Like the guys are meant to be all for sports and the girls just love glitter.  Which is fine for a while but really what's the difference between Bratz and Barbie?  Doesn't one seems more mature than the other?  Yeah I get the idea that Barbie's been around longer and is a bit more mature but to even catch up to Bratz they take it down a notch.  But then again that's just how they have to sell things.

 

Other things are out there like how the tv news, whether they be local or just something from the major news networks like FOX, always try to put either fear or opinions down your throat (sometimes both).  It gets annoying.

 

Tv can be fun though...that's only if you don't want to pay attention to the negative stuff.  It all comes down into the Boredom Killing Buisness and well...I just don't like how the Masterminds use that to get you into a weird stage of almost being a zombie.

 

The only thing on tv that pisses me off than any other are celebrity updates from the paparazzi and tabloids.  I can't stand them.  The only way I can take it though is when they make fun of it at the same time as reporting it.  Though, I'm not a big fan of that either.

 

Everyone watches tv just for that reason, to kill boredom.  It relaxes you a bit sometimes when you enjoy yourself but other times it can help stress you out.  Tv is ok but don't take it too seriously, but then again when I think about it, it's almost as if nobody cares anymore.
