Stay With Me

Stay With Me

Lyrics

"
Don’t take that step. Don’t go there again.
This journey is a terrible thing to end.
Don’t listen to that voice.
You’ve got another choice.
I think you’re the only one who doesn’t see,
When your true colors show.

Because I see someone who’s strong and brave.
I see a girl who I don’t need to save.
I see someone who is insecure
Though you make mistakes,
Your intentions are pure.

I know there’s always two sides of the story
You had the guts, He got the glory
And they’ll just hurt you again and again
But do what you can to not do it to them
Even with al this up ahead
The future isn’t something that you should dread

Because I see someone who’s strong and brave.
I see a girl who I don’t need to save.
I see someone who is insecure
Though you make mistakes,
Your intentions are pure.

But don’t think this is the only way out
Don’t think that pain is all you can be about
I’ve seen deeper,
To the other side of you
You may not be, but I’m a believer
Next time, just take a look,
When your true colors show.

Because I see someone who’s strong and brave.
I see a girl who I don’t need to save.
I see someone who is insecure
Though you make mistakes,
Your intentions are pure.

Don’t take that step. Don’t go there again.
No matter what you’re feeling,
This love is a terrible thing to end.
