VenomA Poem by Amortentia03LyricsShe walks just like anyone And you might think that she could be the one As those words roll off her tongue, You can almost forget That she’s the venom. She’ll make you feel what you haven’t before. Less than a minute, she can knock you to the floor. Soon her malice comes and fills your veins, Tears you up inside until nothing remains. Until finally, she stops your heart, But ever though it’s over, you can’t stand to be apart. She walks just like anyone And you might think that she could be the one As those words roll off her tongue, You can almost forget That she’s the venom. She just leaves a body black and blue. The scars are all that’s left Of what she’s done to you. I can’t tell if she meant to be the enemy, But she crossed a line, Creating pain that I can’t remedy. She walks just like anyone And you might think that she could be the one As those words roll off her tongue, You can almost forget That she’s the venom. She’ll wait, a snake in the grass. Then bring you down to her level, So that maybe it can last. Then she’ll turn away, Say that something’s missing But you did nothing wrong, She’s just looking for her next victim. © 2010 Amortentia03 |
