 Is there anybody out there?

Someone who won't ignore me,

or only pretend to care.

I'm starting to believe he isn't real,

and that this isn't just a phase,

it's the lies that turn the day to day

into a painful haze.

It’s amazing how quickly

About a place,

You felt that you belonged.

 

It’s easy to fake the smile

It’s easy to hide the rage,

Too easy to ignore the thoughts

Or burn true letters on the page.

It doesn't mean nothing,

my faith may be gone,

I'm a little more afraid

of ever falling in love,

The sky seems much clearer,

my words can be true,

now that we’re only

another heartbreak song

for me to write.
