Just A Fairytale

Just A Fairytale

A Poem by Amortentia03

 You're like an open book
With all blank pages
I look at you the whole day
But I just can't see what's inside

So don't tell me I'm wrong
Don't tell me that this ain't real
Because it's easier pretending
Than knowing it'll never be us.

I want you to be my fairytale.
I wish you were my prince.
It's takes some imagination,
To see you as more than just toad you are.

I let it run away with me.
I let your wild stallion
Be the one to carry me
Up and over the moon.

But hopefully
There's a man up there
Who will see me
As the girl of his world

And that way
I can stop kissing frogs
And forget about
Your warts.
