A Wish

A Wish

A Poem by Peaches

I wish for just a little cabin

To have as my own home

With trees and some open fields

Where I can run and roam

I need not roses or carnations

Wild flowers a plenty will do

Just enough power for my computer

And a sky that's mostly blue

I do not need the hustle and bustle

Of city streets and stores

Just the Chatter of the birds

Singing the local lore

I need not movies or TV

My mind alone will do

On my computer I will type

Some fantasy bold and new

I sit here and I picture this

And hope and dream some more

Someday perhaps I'll find it

Outside my own back door

I`ll bring a side of bacon and the sour-dough mix
and be right over.

I guess that is another way for me to say; I found your
poem to be an absolute joy. Your cottage is a place to
while away the days, to play and love and enjoy. Just leave
the world and all her trials outside somewhere.

A beautiful thought and a gorgeous poem.

I love it -----nothing could improve that writing .

My rating ----- 100 %

About
I've been writing forever it seems. I don't remember exactly when I began but by the time I was eight I had started a collection. I have even got some of those poems and stories still tucked away, to .. more..
