Burning Fire

Burning Fire

A Poem by Peaches

Reality fades as your hand brushes mine
My heart pounds, my breathe catches
I burn with a fire I cannot put out

You reach for me and I melt
Into the bliss of your arms
Into the essence of you

I ache to touch, to taste
To let the sensations take over
To abandon myself to the pleasure

We sink together into the flames
Hot enough to destroy us if we let it
We burn together until the flames at last dim

I melt into the warmth that remains
Until the fire burns again
I reach for you...

About
I've been writing forever it seems. I don't remember exactly when I began but by the time I was eight I had started a collection. I have even got some of those poems and stories still tucked away, to .. more..
