My Rainbow

My Rainbow

A Poem by Peaches

My oldest is a blazing orange,
firey yet warm,
She's not like any other,
Unlike her younger brother.

He is a deep deep blue
A color of the darkest hue.
Moody and mellow,
Unlike my little yellow.

Yellow as the sun youngest is he,
radiant and sparkling as he can be.
A brightness on the darkest day,
Unlike the green first seen in may.

A cool green in natures shades,
A warm child like a spring day.
A thinking color of relaxing tones,
Unlike the red much like my own.

Passionate red so filled with soul,
The symbol of a heart untold.
Burning with fire that can't be tamed,
Temper and passion are his name.

From blue to green in colors so tame,
From yellows sun to reds clear flame,
My children are so much you see,
A rainbow sent from heaven to me.

About
I've been writing forever it seems. I don't remember exactly when I began but by the time I was eight I had started a collection. I have even got some of those poems and stories still tucked away, to .. more..
