Little Death

Little Death

A Poem by Whimsy Gonser

Split me open down the middle
Watch me splinter
Little death
Feel the stutter of my heartbeat
As I beg for one sweet breath

Set my flesh alight with fire
Burn me deep through with your gaze
Light your touch to sear my senses
Scorch my mind to heated haze

Hear me cry out to the angels
Feel my body quiver tight
Let me plead release to Heaven
Take my soul with you tonight

I like the way the words are unpredictable and lucid at the same time.

So lovely....the words are well-chosen. It seems to have some violent sensuality that I can't try to ignore. It's dark and light at the same time...Wonderful! :)

You're very welcome.
This is amazing. The rhyme and flow are amazing, better than a rap. I like the word choice and story around every word.
Very well done, little death.. ! =3
