Converse

A play on word

You may be talking about the shoes, or the words between two with positives and issues. The shoes can make you feel cool. Give you some pep in your step as you're pacing slowly down the street. Society changes it though, always because they want you to have the brand new like Nike's or Jordan's. But who cares right? Like what you  want! Conversations around you may be positive or negative. They want you to have the new stuff or else you're "uncool" or "hipster". Or maybe they actually adore the amount of happiness you have over the shoe. But the "converse" in this case is a scale.
