The Patron

The Patron

A Poem by Julius Whimbird
"

For everyone, there is that special force that keeps us walking forward into the future.

"
I am the Patron.
I am the Patron of Sanity
To the girl whom is lost in darkness.
I am the Patron of Fidelity
To the man whom has lost his dear wife.
I am the Patron of Solitude
To the CEO whom is without his own life.
I am the Patron of Courage
To the soldier whom is on the frontline.
I am the Patron of Giving
To the group whom is scarce of volunteers.
I am the Patron of...
Well...
That's for you to decide.

Author's Note

Julius Whimbird
The word "patron" can mean to be a guardian or lord-master. Patron has been something that wouldn't leave me alone and I had to write something that involved the word. So, with that out of the way, please review and leave me some interpretations of what this could mean. Constructive criticism is also nice.

patron of patronisers perhaps.
I liked your use of strike outs to add emphasis.

I love the way the way the words just seem to flow together, and how it seems to speak directly to you. Great work and I look forward to more.
