The nobody

The nobody

A Poem by Wheresware

My life isn't worth fighting for
Going forward feels too much like a chore
Time has only brought me down
Nothing is left for me in this town

No one will ever know what I'm really about
Even to the heavens id scream and shout
Yet no one would hear what I said
Even if I wrote it down it would not be read

Love is one thing that seems to elude
Without it I might as well be in the nude
Even when I wear my heart on my sleeve
All I ever do is grieve

It's a fight no longer worth the cause
This life is in need of a pause
If someone could show me real meaning
Then this life wouldn't be so fleeting

But no one ever sees me
I'm just a by stander in the debris
I might as well reach for the coast
Cause to you I will only be a ghost
